Message You can buy a decent HVLP sprayer outfit for less than $100.00. One that is good enough for this for sure. [ http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=91772 ] Get the paint mixed by a body shop. You'll need a pint of both color and clear. Should be less than $75. Rattle can the primer. 2 cans < $20. I'd say that for less than $200 you could do it yourself and have the sprayer left over to sell for half price. Oh one more thing. Get a gallon of laquer thinner and wipe down the engine bay. It will take a day to prime and color. Let sit overnight then clear. Or the really cheap way is to wipe with laquer thinner, get same color paint in rattle cans (acrylic), towerpaint.com, clear with krylon clear after a day or two. That'd be less than $75.
